  • Okay, at the risk of this becoming the bitter guy comment, I have to ask.

I've listened to four of your podcasts, now, and am curious if I'm getting the right impression. Are all of your podcasts about the misrepresentation of females in today's comics? Not that it's not a worthwhile cause, I'm just curious if that's the gist of what your podcast is about, or if I just came on board in the middle of a series of rants.

I'm not defending the actions of the male dominated superhero comics genre. It panders to little nerdy boys who might never see a grown woman naked. That's their market. That's their moola.

I'm not hip to the content of all of your podcasts, but most of what I've heard do far is a running commentary on how comic artists/writers victimize their female characters and draw them with fake tits and porn poses. Which, I admit, is probably true. That's not the type of comic art I'm interested in. Should I expect more of the same from the rest of your podcasts? I guess that's the real question.

Perhaps you could rename your podcast "She-Girl,Male-Dominated-Comics-Haters-Club," to avoid confusion with a general comics review podcast. :) I'm not intending to sound catty or snide I am just trying to figure out if I should keep listening or not.
