  • The best thing about the LSH story you mentioned is that when Superboy's idiocy first caused Mon-El to have to go into the Phantom Zone in the first place, he claimed he wouldn't rest until he found a cure for the guy. And he doesn't, so Mon-El gets to sit and stew in the Phantom Zone for a freakin' millenium. Saturn Girl figures she'll try to get him out, and pulls it off in an afternoon! So not only is Superman a dick, but he's apparently kinda useless, too.

  • Love the show, as always. And to enlighten a bit, Grant Morrison's comment was about the fact that the Scottish were used a slaves in the mines until 1799 in England.

And the Legion stories have always seemed more modern than the other DC stuff at the time, which was VERY gimmick plot driven and so much of a product of its time. The ones later in the Archive series by Jim Shooter is pretty impressive when you realize there were written by a 13 year old.

  • Wow Lene- there are so many insecure people out there- why are people so threatened by your opinions? I don't get it....But, when people (like yourself) simply try to make the world a better place in your own special way some others become insecure, and respond with negativity. The truth is never easy to accept- but accepting it and changing it makes it better for everyone.

The quote you mentioned by Harlan Ellison:

"It's not true that everybody's intitled to their opinion. What is true is that everyone is intitled to their informed opinion."

    Brilliant and applicable.

    man....I love a good quote.....

looking forward to the next show.
