  • Dear Lene,

Another great issue, it was very entertaining hearing your origin story and evolution as an enlightened human being reading comics. Bless your heart.

Please read and review Richard Sala's wonderful Delphine. He makes me swoon

  • Great show. Good point about the team-ups between guys with no powers and guys with mega-powers.

  • Thanks. This show is what makes podcasts unique! I felt and shared the joy your brother had looking at Kirby. I'd love to hear him analyze a trade of Bendis/Maleev's Daredevil or Brubaker/Epting's Captain America. That is what brought me back into comics. I started reading about the same time as he did. My Grandmother threw out all my comics, bless her heart. It's hard being a kid,eh?

I also was a MMMS member, so it was thrilling to hear your delight going through the paraphernalia. 'nuff said.

You often rant about how women in comics are portrayed. I suggest B.P.R.D "The Universal Machine" for you. Kate is very strong woman battling the malevolent spirit-world with nothing but her knowledge of the arcane, and her intellect. That book needs more readers.

  • Lene,

Thanks for this great episode and also for posting the recordings from the MMMS record.

I never got to hear that record. It was something I always wanted to listen to since my childhood.

    Thanks!
