  • I'm so glad you mentioned Korgi, not enough people seem to know about it, and it's so wonderful. Like Owly (great that you mentioned that, too) it's wordless.

Your comments about the lack of women in Pixar has been noted by other critics. While Dori, Helen Parr, and Eve are all great, important characters, their upcoming The Bear and the Bow is the first feature to have a lead woman character, but she's a princess. Why not have an average girl?

Glad your podcasting again, you brighten up my work week!

  • I'm a very big fan of Love and Capes. I've been reading it since issue one and I think you would enjoy the other issues. Based on the interviews with Thom Zahler I've read, I know he's going for a Situation comedy feel on the book.
I really like the characters and while Amazonia is drawn in a pretty skimpy costume, the rest of the female characters are drawn like "normal" people. In fact my wife has said that it is one of the few books she likes reading because "he draws women normally."

I found the podcast because of the Love and Capes review and I really enjoyed it. I'll have to go back and review some other shows.
