  • Fun interview, LT! I hope you do get to talk to Jill again about her comics work. The animal ghost stories she's been doing with Evan Dorkin are good reading, as was the Vertigo mini-series she did with Will Pfeifer, Finals.

    Re: The Great Gildersneeze... that was a Bugs Bunny take-off on a radio show called The Great Gildersleeve. The character was originated by an actor named Hal Peary, and he did sound a lot like the department store manager in that Bugs cartoon. Among many, many other things in his career, he narrated some great children's records, like Dr. Seuss's "Gerald McBoingBoing." You can download an MP3 of it over at www.kiddierecords.com
