  • Hi!

A great show as always. Very interesting, even though I haven't still read yaoi. It's funny, but I know two gay guys that picked up some yaoi comics and they didn't like them because they expected more explicit stuff. Then I told them that Yaoi is usually targeted to women. They got very surprised.

I can't either remember any mainstream comic about incest, but I recently read X-Statix #12 and they had some necrophilia stuff (never explicit, of course) on it. By the way, if you haven't read Peter Milligan and Mike Allred's X-STATIX I really encourage you to do so.

I also encourage you to see the first Ghost In the Shell movie if you haven't seen it. I liked it more that the second one, but they both are actually great movies. I think the reason you kept seeing all that sound captions is because some movies have got subtitles for deaf people, and incidental sounds have to be explained.

I'm a Finn Brothers fan too. I think they were former "Crowded House" components, weren't they.
I you let me recommend you some music, I'm listening this days a brand new "A-ha" CD titled "Analogue". I think you may like it.

    Bye!

  • LT, do you find that females in the US have a strong interest in Yaoi? Is it as strong/stronger as it is in Japan? I've never really understood the interest in Sexual anime whether Yaoi, etc. I've bought a couple hentai but it always seems to be weaker in story, than non-sexual. Anyways, still it sounds like a great con!

  • and David, the ghost in the Shell 2 DVD for 7.99 is most likely the initial version, which is regarded as one of the worst subbed animes out right now. they're placed awkwardly and have subs for the sound FXs happen in the middle of the show.
